How do I know if a business is located in an OZ?

I was approached by a business owner who claimed that his company is located in an OZ and I could enjoy the tax benefits if I made an investment. How can I verify this? Some say there are census tract numbers that investors can use as a reference. How can I find the census tract number for a specific address?

Here is a great resource for locating whether an address is in an Opportunity Zone. Once you add the address you can see from the map if it's in an Opportunity Zone and when you click on the address you can see the Opportunity Zone Census Tract. (opportunityzonesmap.com)

Go to the CDFI's Opportunity Zone Resources web page. That's the official government website for locating OZs.
