How can security laws impact a Qualified Opportunity Fund?

What should I think about when it comes to SEC before launching my own fund?

Any QOF sponsor needs to be taking the securities laws and regulations into consideration. Disclosures to prospective investors are a critical step in the process. Think about who you are going to market the fund to and whether you have a pre-existing relationship with those persons. That will dictate a great deal.
