Can I start a church congregation in an OZ and have people contribute into a QOF to build a nonprofit church building?

Are there any special tax benefits or rules for nonprofits in OZs?

Nonprofits can take advantage of the program.

You cannot put a nonprofit enterprise in an OZ. You have to be running a Section 162 trade or business. Nonprofit entities can be QOF investors, though.
