What kind of reform of the OZ legislation might we anticipate from the Biden administration?

I have heard that we might see changes in the community impact reporting and other new restrictions on projects.

You'll see some kind of reform. There figures to be legislation to prospectively, not retroactively, change the OZs and beef up reporting and compliance. But the core rules don't figure to change, and the program will remain in existence. Don't forget that it was the Obama administration officials who first thought of this initiative, so the Biden administration is highly unlikely to take it away. And, in fact, repealing the QOZ legislation is not on their official platform.

That is as much as we have heard. It will all depend also on the final composition of Congress.
